PAST EVENTS
In the fall of 2007, The David Dawes Nee II Foundation followed the success of its inaugural fundraiser by hosting a Casino Night at Capitale in Manhattan. The Foundation wishes to extend its gratitude to those of you who have attended our fundraisers and those of you who took the opportunity to donate. We are pleased that Active Minds, a not-for-profit peer-to-peer organization dedicated to the mental health of college students, and Columbia University's TeenScreen Program, a national mental health and suicide risk screening program, have been awarded substantial grants from the Foundation thanks to your generosity.Please click here to view photos from our second annual fundraiser! |

SPRING FUNDRAISER
The David Dawes Nee II Foundation hosted an evening of stand-up comedy in New York City Thursday, March 27th, 2008.
Jim Florentine, an Emmy
Award-winning comedian who is one of the biggest names in stand-up
comedy, headlined the evening. He is a principal performer on Comedy Central's Crank Yankers (where he voices "Special Ed" and "Bobby Fletcher", among others), and he is a frequent contributor to The Howard Stern Show. He also has been featured on Comedy Central's Motherload, HBO's Inside the NFL, and ABC's The Apprentice. More information on Jim can be found at his website, which you can reach by clicking here.
The event was a great success and featured Jim performing with several other stand-up
comedians in downtown Manhattan at the Gotham
Comedy Club, New York's premiere venue for live comedy.
